CU AVI LINGUA PASSA U MARI, 2012, banner 400x150 cm. A typical Sicilian expression, translated as Whoever has the language crosses the sea, became the slogan for the first supporter group of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders for soccer in Palermo and Italy. The work was made in the context of an exhibition connected to the gay pride and offers another image on the masculine culture that surrounds soccer in Italy. The supporter group presented the banner in the popular Sunday afternoon television program "Quelli che il calcio" RAI 2. This is an extract of the program, broadcasted on the 7th of April 2013. |
